The contact took the vehicle back to the local dealer, where it was diagnosed with needing the transmission and torque converter to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact took the vehicle to a second local dealer: Ilderton Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Fiat (701 S Main St, High Point, NC 27260), where it was diagnosed with needing the transmission and torque converter to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer had been informed of the failure. The failure mileage was 97,545.
