Spent $800.00 and 3 different trips to my mechanic they tried 3 different solutions and within 30 miles of leaving mechanic engine light came on and all three times was "Cylinder #2 misfire" . They said this was not common for an engine with 85,000 miles. Took it to Dodge dealer and they determined it was a warped cylinder head. It was another $4,800.00 and got it replaced. No one could till me if the other cylinder head will also go bad soon or if in another 85,000 miles the same head would warp again and need re-replacement.
I bought the van used last year with 65,000 miles and put an additional 15,000 miles on. 12 months after purchase I have a check engine light that came on. The code is for cyl.#2 misfire. Two different shops tell me this will require replacing the cylinder head. What a crock. Last Chrysler product I ever buy, EVER!
