The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who replaced the door actuator and the failure was remedied. Later the failure had occurred on both the rear driver-??s and passenger-??s side sliding door. The failure was not yet repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The local dealer was not contacted. The failure mileage was 20,000.
