We started having problems when this car was only about two years old and had around 24,000 miles on it. The fix was a new seat motor. (How does a seat motor WEAR OUT in two years?). The second problem was supposedly "just a fuse" October the third 2017. The third time it stopped working (after warranty) they want to sell us a TIPM which is mainly unrelated to the automatic passenger seat WHICH IS NOT ADJUSTABLE WITHOUT IT. They also said some of the wiring was burned. The estimate is about $1,000. We now have to worry that one of the more serious system outages such as engine stalling or airbags not working will occur on a trip! (if we leave the seat in the existing position only} rather than spend the money. It could also need to be replaced again anyway which is very costly.
