AFRAID TO LET MY WIFE USE THIS CAR. It runs perfect, sometimes for a use or two, then will die when accelerating from a turn or stop, sometimes in the middle of a intersection, brakes and power steering die with the car engine. Usually I can manage the issue, by moving shifter to neutral, and starting the engine. Sometimes it dies again and then again, when I put it in gear again, and try to go again, then so far finally starts and runs fine for the rest of the trip. The car will die when I start it and put it into gear forward, and step on the gas. However will not die when I do the same but in reverse! The computer recently is not giving a check engine light, however in past has on occasion given a light and a code of P0335, Crankcase position sensor. That sensor was replaced, and the problem is still happening. Sometimes when the check engine light came on, it also displayed a traction control light too. Really good mechanics have tried to determine this failure, and none have a solution.

I bought a 2014 Chrysler town and country in March of 2016 with 18000 miles on it. I have had oil changed on the car every three months or three thousand miles and have proof to back this up. My wife was driving on a busy freeway and the vehicle shut down and we were unable to get it restarted. We had roadside assistance tow the car to the dealer to find out that the motor seized up. We still have the 5 year/100000 mile powertrain warranty. When asked about the warranty the dealership scoffed at the idea and stated they wouldn't cover the damage because of sludge in the motor. Extremely irritated and about to get an attorney involved if this vehicle which I am still making payments on isn't fixed.
