The side sensor monitor system is designed to fail. The sensors rot out because they are not sealed properly and Chrysler knows it. They say its normal wear on the vehicle but when a safety device fails after less than 30K miles and the dealer fix is $2,100.00 that's a HUGE problem. There is no way this should not be a recall. There are videos and complaints all over the web. I've owned 4 Town and Country's and a caravan. There is NO WAY I will purchase another Chrysler vehicle unless they fix this problem.
