The dash board lights will not shut off in the car and it drains the battery. if you are driving and the radio is on, it makes a poof sound and shut the dash board, and 5 minutes later it comes back on. This time the dash board will not shut off, after having this repair at the auto shop for $700.00. I will never purchase another Chrysler again.

Town & Country Touring 3.6L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 85,750 miles

I drove the car to pick up my daughter, stopped the engine to wait for her (5 minutes at the most). The car would not turn on. I tried to jump it and it would not jump. Had to have it towed to my mechanic. They said the battery tested that it needed to be replaced. Very weird that it would work and then suddenly not.

My battery is dead this morning. I have the vehicle loaded and ready to go. It is in my carport. I am waiting for hubby to come home and see what he wants to do. I do not know if this is under the warranty.

After one month in the dealership they think they found the issue this time. My battery was dying every 4 days for no real reason. The first time I was dismissed they found nothing, charged the battery. Died 4 days later, this time towed in, they replaced the wirelss ignition module and died again in 4 days. They replaced the battery and it died again in 4 days, replaced the ignition again... died again in 4 days (both times they had me come all the way there to pick up my van since it was ready for it to be dead in their parking lot). They know are saying it's due to the TIPM which I mentioned day one and they blew off....so today are putting in a new TIPM to fix the problem this time.....

Funny I didn't get a recall for the nation wide TIPM issue...
