Drivers door rear window switch could start a fire was disconnected its over 8 months waiting its a lease van long time waiting with no window use family of seven so dearly missed.
I just received the 2nd recall notice about the rear quarter vent window switch, which may lead to a driver's door fire. My local Chrysler dealer tells me the replacement part is not available. The part was not available when I called in October. How long does Chrysler have to replace a defective part?
Drivers village in New York sold me this vehicle without mentioning this recall and without disconnecting it to prevent a driver door fire. I received a letter in the mail about the recall soon after purchasing it. It was recalling the vehicle for the "rear quarter vent window switch" which could cause a fire in the driver-side door. This dealership is obviously looking for the deal with little to no interest in the safety of its customers. Please investigate this dealership to prevent them from potentially putting others in danger. Thank you for your time.
