Jim Riehl Friendly Chrysler Jeep in Warren at first agreed to fix it, then went back and declined it after submitting it to Chrysler imaging. They gave me the friendly decline and pushed me out the door. This was an exterior body panel being held on by interior panel clips. I will send a pic soon. They want to charge me 350 dollars for this. It happened in the winter when ice build up knocked the piece off. This is totally unacceptable, it's a flawed design.
My take is that they've been getting way to many warranty issues and need to stop the bleeding. This will be our last Chrysler product. Having once been hit by the Jeep Commander kinked sunroof tube issue that at first they tried to blame on parking under a maple tree. We had that one in for service 17 times. We had to get use a lawyer for that one. This will not happen again. Beware!
