I experienced wobbling at the steering column at around 20K miles when I press on the brakes. I have never experienced wobbling like this with any other vehicle, especially from a vehicle with such low mileage. Dealer confirmed that rotors were warped. I was told that I could have them ground out or replaced, but it would not be covered by Chrysler. Dealer informed me that that it was safe to drive, but after another 5K miles, I noticed that the wobbling was much more severe and becoming a distraction at speeds above 60 MPH. I believe that either the rotors have a defect or the dealer tech incorrectly tightened the lug nuts on the wheels, which could lead to rotors warping.

Chrysler says that they use top grade material in their rotors. If they are top grade, why would you offer a warranty of only 12,000 miles? This is garbage. Chrysler refused to pay for new rotors and brakes for the front axle, so I asked if they would share the cost with me by paying for half and they said no. This was a reasonable gesture on my part. It's now a matter of principle for me, so I'm getting the work done by Firestone for $356. Chrysler and the dealer is out $356, my loyalty, my recommendations and any future purchases by me. Employees at Chrysler obviously lack forward thinking.
