Dash board brake light comes on Intermittently, I HAVE NO CONFIDENCE IN THE DASH BOARD BRAKE LIGHT. I have had it to the local dealership several times to have the problem fixed. They say they can't find out what the problem is unless I get it to the shop while the brake light is on. Trouble is it comes on for from 10 seconds to a minute, goes off and may come on again a few miles, or a hundred miles. They have inspected the can and can't find a problem.
My wife has Parkinson's and we need a car we can trust. And I am loosing confidence in the van. SO I HAVE TO TELL HER TO IGNORE THE BRAKE WARING LIGHT. NOT GOOD. IF WE HAVE A WRECK BECAUSE THE BRAKES FAILED AND THE DASHBOARD BRAKE WARNING LIGHT CAME ON AND WE WERE TOLD TO IGNORE IT, THEN CHRYSLER IS RESPONSIBLE.
Otherwise we like the van, but had I known about this problem, I would not have bought it. Can't afford a new one, we are both retired teachers and spent a lot of our savings on this car so my wife could travel in comfort.
