I was driving when a chime announced on my dash to warn me my right rear bulb was out. Then 5 seconds later chime the left side rear bulb is out. Very strange 2 bulbs go out at the same time. WTF Chrysler? I drove straight to Auto Zone and purchased a pack of replacement bulbs that are #3157 then went to the back of car to remove the light lens. Since I have to carry tools with this lemon I am driving, I have to be prepared good thing I was. After pulling out the lens cover, twist turn the socket to expose the bulb, the socket was brittle falling apart and completely burnt. So I also did the same to the other side and noticed the same condition. I went back in to Auto Zone returned the bulbs and exchanged them for the LED version best thing ever much brighter they did not get hot at all and supposed to last longer. Anyway as I placed the lens back in I noticed no lights on the plate so I removed the cover lens and those bulbs were also burnt out the same way brittle burnt so I went back into Auto Aone for the 3rd and final time purchased new bulb#168 for plate lights, I choose once again the LED version. When I have time and money I am switching all to LED uses less energy, don't get hot lasts longer, much brighter. Chrysler is going to cause a dam fire sooner or later using these crappy sockets or electrical wiring, should be a recall.
