The contact owns a 2010 Chrysler Town and country. While driving approximately 70 mph, the instrument panel lighting failed to illuminate. The contact coasted to the shoulder where the vehicle was turned off. Once restarted, the vehicle operated normally. The contact stated that the failure had been recurring intermittently for the past year, but was getting worse. The contact drove the vehicle to the dealer (central Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep/Ram in norwood, Massachusetts, 781-762-2200) where it was awaiting diagnostic testing and repairs. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and filed case number: 33953243. The approximate failure mileage was 87,000.
The contact owns a 2010 Chrysler Town and country. While driving 55 mph, the instrument panel gauges malfunctioned and completely failed. In addition, the windshield wipers activated unexpectedly and would not deactivate. The contact activated the headlights, but could not deactivate them without turning off the vehicle. The dealer stated that the instrument cluster was defective and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired, but the failure recurred. The manufacturer was notified.
