The dealer was contacted and they advised him that the vehicle was not designed to close without a warning sound. The manufacturer was contacted and offered no assistance. The contact owns a 2010 Chrysler Town and country. The contact stated the automatic rear liftgate would release in an open position without intent. The failure occurred three times. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer where the key fob was replaced; however, the failure persisted. The manufacturer was not made aware of the problem.
