The dealer knows about the problem, has taken numerous photos of the seat and sent them to Chrysler for a solution. A seat cover did come in, but it did not match the 3rd row seat. The 3rd row seat is probably not the correct one for my vehicle since the whole interior is light (all 4 seats - front and middle), and the 3rd row has a black band at the bottom. They are leather. The seat cover that came in was all light colored, but when folded into the floor, the carpet did not match. I feel that this is another mistake that was made in the assembling of this vehicle.
The rear a/c was finally fixed after the dealer discovered the wrong one was installed at the time of assembly. Since I have a special edition, a Walter P. Chrysler Limited Edition, full of electric 'gadgets', I think that the 3rd row seat is totally wrong. After watching a brief clip on TV about "Cool Car of the Week", the reporter stated that in some special edition models, the 3rd row seat is electric when it needs to be folded into the floor. I have not heard a word from the dealership about this, so I will be contacting them in person AGAIN!!!
What a pain to have to keep bugging to get something fixed that should have been taken care of immediately. The last time I was at the dealership I was told that everything would be taken care of 'before you buy your next car'. Why would I even consider buying another new vehicle, when I have had more headaches with this one, than I have ever with a used vehicle.
