Our 2009 Chrysler Town and Country was called in for an ignition system recall repair. The repair was performed at the Chrysler Dealer in Bridgman, Michigan. Shortly after this repair, electrical system malfunctions started to occur. The result was a dangerous throttle down malfunction while driving at highway speed. I am aware this has been a widespread event in America on numerous 2009 and 2010 Town and Country vans. We have been without our vehicle for six weeks with no word of successful repair. The vehicle is at Ed Koehn's Chrysler Dealership in Greenville, Michigan. (616 754 3635)
Need to know when this problem can be solved and what steps Chrysler Corporation will be taking to responsibly financially accountability for the damages. The vehicle was problem free at the time of the ignition recall repair.
Update from Oct 28, 2015: It is nearing 10 weeks and we still do not have our vehicle returned and repaired from Chrysler. I have not been informed as yet where my vehicle is being repaired. Please understand this 2009 Town and Country Van was problem free until the ignition recall repair was performed on it at the Chrysler dealer in Bridgman, Michigan. The cascading electrical problems resulting in the throttle system malfunction was extremely dangerous. I would appreciate knowing when this problem will be solved and what steps Chrysler will be taking to be financially responsible for this damage.
