New tires bought and installed by dealer, and alignment checked twice in less than a year, with no alignment issues. Tires have severe balding on outside edge at 20K miles. Dealer believes the problem is shocks are past 100K and causing edge wear. Yet to see if this is really the problem. Also had some tie rod problems when they tried to do replacement.

After the many issues this van has had, tires that need to be replaced on a van that is 2 1/2 years old and only 28,000 miles is insane!

I called and complained to Chrysler, it's not my first call about this van, Chrysler is giving me a partial credit of about $250 towards new tires purchased from the dealer, my cost $481!

I had to fight to convince the service manager that they were wearing prematurely and tell didn't believe me until they finally looked at the tires. Nothing like the feeling of being right!

Then I had to fight with Chrysler and Yokohama. Yokohama said there is no warranty on those tires at all! AVID S33 are crap and Chrysler doesn't even use them anymore.

I just can't believe they would put such crappy tires on a $35,000 car!
