2008 Chrysler Town & Country. Consumer writes in regards to complaint concerning Chrysler safety recall L01 occupant restraint controller module the consumer stated the recall process wasn't handle properly or professionally. The consumer was informed it would take an hour to perform the recall. However, when she returned, the dealer informed her that they had only scanned the module and would have to order the replacement part. When the consumer called the dealer two weeks later, she was told the part still had not been ordered. The dealer told the consumer she was on the list, for the part to be ordered. The dealer stated Chrysler would only allow them to place orders every four days.

The vehicle was taken to the dealer for recall repairs when the contact was advised that the parts needed to complete the repair were placed on hold to a limited quantity of the parts being available. The vehicle had not yet been repaired. The contact had not yet experienced a failure. The current mileage was 70,000.
