I purchased my 2008 Chrysler Town & Country in February, 2013 and have since put about $45,000 miles on it. I have had to replace all four brakes and pads 3 times since then. To put it in even better perspective. I had my rear brakes done AFTER my daughter was born and my front brakes done last Winter when she was about 7 months old. My daughter is now 16 months old and I am having all four of them done again. This is a major safety problem for a car that is meant for families. Not to mention, I don't want to have to blow over $1,000 every few months.

From Day one our brakes have been a pain in the ass. They are the noisiest brakes every Chrysler seems to have noisy brakes. When we are out driving we can guess when we hear noise brakes that it is a Chrysler. Either they squeal or the dam interlock brakes grind. There solution for this is to sand down the rotors. Not going to happen says my hubby. He just put the best rotors you can purchased on our van and the best brake pads and they are still dam noisy. I can fill out a ton of these complaints as I sit here at my puter my van in the garage the last 4 days being serviced for a crank shaft sensor. I had both crank and cam sensors replaced three weeks ago and last Friday the crank sensor went again. Now they are putting in new crank sensor and wiring harness. GRRR I have a ton of other issues but just dont have the time to mention them all. Will never own another Chrysler.
