The contact owns a 2007 Chrysler Town and country. While driving at 40 mph, the check engine and the electronic throttle control (etc) warning lights illuminated and the contact noticed a burning odor. The vehicle was taken to a dealer. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The failure recurred on numerous occasions. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 123,412.
Chrysler Town and country 2007- shortly after refueling the vehicle, with no warning the RPM's will drop and the engine will stall. This event usually happens as I am merging into traffic from the gas station. This is a very dangerous situation because the power brakes and steering assist is lost during a stall!
The contact owned a 2007 Chrysler Town & Country. The contact stated that while parking, the vehicle lunged forward and crashed into a wall. The contact then shifted the vehicle in reverse and the vehicle accelerated backwards, crashing into two vehicles. The contacts vehicle was destroyed, but no injuries were sustained. The contact also stated that the accelerator pedal was stuck in a partially depressed position. Neither the manufacturer, nor the dealer were notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 18,200.
