The contact owns a 2006 Chrysler Town and country. While driving 40 mph, the accelerator pedal was jammed and caused the vehicle to experience unintended acceleration. The contact was able to stop the vehicle by forcing it into the park gear. The contact stated that the engine was still revving and an abnormal burning odor was present. The vehicle was not taken to a dealer nor an independent mechanic. The manufacturer was not notified. The failure mileage was 128,125.
