Instrument panel lighting in several years of Chrysler Town & Country and Dodge Grand Caravan around 2006 have no provision for getting speedometer and tachometer lighting increased; this makes those instruments literally invisible in low light conditions as around sunrise and sunset. This condition is always present and is a very dangerous condition. I pointed this out to two Chrysler dealers, but got no help!
The contact owns a 2006 Chrysler Town and country. The contact stated that there is electrical failure with the instrument panel. All of the panel lights flicker on and off at all times. He took the vehicle to the dealer five times and they replaced the alternator, battery, and a few major electrical connections; however, the failure continues. The failure has been occurring since the vehicle was purchased. The failure mileage was less than 100 and current mileage was 18,000.
