The contact owns a 2006 Chrysler Town and Country. The contact stated that while he was a passenger in the vehicle, the driver-??s side rear sliding door failed to open, and the contact had to exit from the trunk of the vehicle. The dealer was made aware of the failure and informed the contact that there was no recall associated with the Vin. The dealer inspected the vehicle and provided the contact with an estimate for the repair. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 99,000.

The contact owns a 2006 Chrysler Town and country. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, the power steering would disengage independently. The contact mentioned that during cold weather the steering wheel made a loud noise when turning.in addition, the contact stated both sliding doors failed to lock. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic. The technician referred the contact to take the vehicle to the authorized dealer. The dealer was unable to diagnose the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 72,000. Updated 01/12/15 the consumer stated the passenger airbag light remained on. Updated 06/3/2015

The contact stated that the vehicle continued to burn oil and the climate control failed. The vehicle feels that the failure was related to an electrical issue, but the dealer has repeatedly stated that the vehicle does not have any problems. The dealer also stated that the oil was burning normally. The failure mileage was 40000 and the current mileage was 61000.

Right rear power door fails to open from rear push button, later in time, door lock failed to open when unlocking doors, also door won't lock on auto., or when driving as the rest of the doors. Very dangerous, my grandchildren ride quite regularly and afraid door may malfunction. Also when turn left at times theirs a grinding noise coming from the front of the car.
