CarComplaints.com Notes: What the heck happened here? A year after getting our "seal of pretty good" for the 2004, Chrysler turns around and delivers this crapwagon.

This minivan has problems ranging from rack and pinion steering failure to door locks that won't let you out. And trust me, you'll want to get out.

Headlights will not turn on but dash lights will. Head lights will go off while driving. This is an intermittent problem that requires repeated turning on and off of the switch to get them to come back on. The dealer said the swith can be replaced for $320, and is not covered under warranty. Why should I replace a switch with another that will have the same issue? dealer shrugged shoulders.

While driving at night the headlights turn off. This is the second time in about a year that the same problem has occurred. The last time they replaced the headlight switch under warranty. This time isn't covered? once the lights go out you have to constantly turn the switch back and forth until they come on. I talked with Chrysler customer reps today and they say it's an isolated or unheard of problem. However, according to this site, it seems to be more often than Chrysler will admit!

: the contact stated without warning the headlights went out intermittently, but would come back on. The dealership determined the headlight switch needed to be replaced. The part has been ordered, but the dealership advised the contact the headlights could go out at any time. Updated 03/17/06.
