CarComplaints.com Notes: What the heck happened here? A year after getting our "seal of pretty good" for the 2004, Chrysler turns around and delivers this crapwagon.
This minivan has problems ranging from rack and pinion steering failure to door locks that won't let you out. And trust me, you'll want to get out.

Husband was driving to a job when wisps of smoke came out of top of the hood/bottom of windshield drivers side and he thought maybe it was over heating. He worked his way across traffic to a parking lot where he was barely able to get out before it burst into flames. He's fine, thank God! Fire Chief said it looked electrical because of where the fire started...picture #25 - the big black hole. Car is totaled.
Of course the fire department came right away and put it out. We then had it towed to our home to get his tools out (he's a carpenter) and anything else we could salvage. We're having to have it towed to a scrapyard. We are diligent on getting our cars serviced every 3000 miles and his was due on the day it burned. We hadn't known that there had been electrical issues with Chrysler T&C's until a friend mentioned it. That's how I found your website while doing research about it.
