The contact owns a 2004 Chrysler town country. While parked, the contact attempted to open the rear passenger side sliding door but it would not open manually or electronically and the door could not be opened from the interior or exterior of the vehicle. The vehicle was not taken to the dealer for diagnostic testing. The contact stated that he was a mechanic and had inspected the vehicle. The contact found that the electronic door actuator would have to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The approximate failure mileage was 119,000.
2004 Chrysler Town and country mini van, the sliding door on the drivers side opens and closes by its itself while the consumer driving on the road. The dealer said they could not find the problem.
