The dash would go completely out, no lights, no mileage, temperature or fuel gauge every time you put on the signal light switch. Had a code P1717. Replaced transmission computer now the headlights go out (not good at night), they will come back on by holding up on the high beam. After a time they will stay on and may not go out for a while. When the lights go out the mileage, overhead information center and dome light comes on and brightens.
Update from Jan 3, 2012: Checked Body Control module with scan tool to Check headlight (on), replaced forward module (on end of fuse box) lights no longer go out or mileage and overhead information doesn't brighten and dim by itself.
