Re: NHTSA campaign id# 04V531000, recall date: 11/01/2004 Chrysler Town and country van radio recall. Have had 2 radios in my van short circuit, the most recent one on 12/27/04. I asked Chrysler to replace it at the dealership, their customer care line and an escalation line, and have boon told they will not replace it under the warranty, and that my mileage of 64,000 is too high to warrant a replacement - of a radio. I am aware of the recall notice, and was told my VIN# 2C8gp641R265979 is not included in the recall. I believe my VIN# should be included in the recall as the van exhibits the exact issue that has been described in the recall notice. I was told to file a complaint with your organization to help resolve this issue. Please let me know what further action is required, thanks.
