The dealership failed to install the seal on the fuel rail but indicated they did. The fuel injection fuel rail leaked fuel all over the engine. The vehicle was taken to another dealership who indicated that seal hadn't been installed and installed it.
Consumer contacted dealer regarding defects in vehicle. However, consumer was told by the dealership that vehicle was not included in recall O0 V 268 000. However, consumer was in fact included in recall.
Consumer received recall letter 99V268000 for seal on fuel rail. Consumer contacted dealer, and they stated that parts were not available. Consumer was concerned because a fire could start.
