While there was a bit of complaint carryover, things eventually settled down and in 2009 the Sebring became one of the least complained about cars we have on record that model year. I know, it shocks us too.
If you’re shopping for a used car you could do better than a 2009 Sebring. But the fact of the matter is you could also do worse. A lot worse. And for that reason we gave this car our “Seal of Pretty Good.”

The 2009 Chrysler Sebring horn starts to blow at all hours and I have to go out and hit the horn pad on the steering wheel. I had it go off in traffic and almost had a guy in a road rage situation until I told him what happens to the horn. This should be a recall for safety for sure. I see where there are many more complaints on the internet.
Steering is extremely tight and unable to turn, rack and pinions are defective. I researched online and it seems a lots of Chrysler Sebring and Dodge avenger are having the same issue with the steering.
There was no incident, but I'm trying to find out why Chrysler stopped the recall for faulty air bags (front seat sensors?) on the 2008. I have a 2009 that the air bag light keeps illuminating and beeping. I called Chrysler, and they were very rude saying that the recall does not apply to my 2009, and wanted alot of money for me to bring it in for a diagnosis. I feel this is wrong. If the 2008's were faulty, then there's a good chance that the 2009's are also. I have only owned this car for 3 months, and have had nothing but trouble with it!
Vehicle hit black ice, flipped and rolled a few times. No air bags were deployed! Chrysler was immediately notified and still no response. Recall on airbag sensor, yet no recall on air bags.
