The contact owns a 2005 Chrysler Sebring. While driving 55 mph, the vehicle completely lost power. When the vehicle shut off, the check oil light illuminated on the instrument panel. The vehicle was towed to a local dealer. She stated that the cause of failure was the fuel pump. The dealer stated that the parts were on back order and would not be available for a month. The dealer also stated that this is a major issue with this model of vehicle. The current and failure mileages were 45,000.
