I took my car in for a water pump replacement, and the mechanic said the timing chain would need to be replaced in under 6 months. They ended up taking over a week to do the repairs, so luckily they threw the timing chain in for free. Not happy that I'm not even to 80K miles and have already had significant repairs and replacements.
