My vehicle was involved in an accident July 2010, damage was to the front driver's side. Upon picking up car I complained of an engine knock and axle noise. Geico determined this was not due to the accident. I was told to take my car back to where the axle was replaced in April 2010 by pep boys. While waiting to be seen by an adjuster from geico, my vehicle would not start. I then had my battery and starter replaced by pep boys. My vehicle still had engine knock which geico said was not cause by accident. I then had my car taken to a repair shop where they diagnosed an oil pump problem. They later determined before replacing the oil pump that there were metal shavings in oil pan. They inspected my engine block and determine that engine block was clean due to my use of synthetic oil, but was not operable. The warranty regarding this was not covered for this by Chrysler.

Chrysler was aware of this problem but did not notify owner of recall item. My cost: $200 'driver's window shudders when rolling up and down.

We already had a complete engine failure at 58,000 miles with our sebring in 2008. The car was under warranty and Chrysler refused to fix the problem. We had to hire a lawyer and 5 months later we had an entirely new engine put in. One year later, the car is back in the shop because it overheats every 5 miles. We our on our third try after the dealerships has been sending it back saying they can't find anything wrong with it.

2005 Chrysler Sebring transmission delays shifting from drive to park. ** answer required***. the engine light had come on, there was a transmission delay from drive to park, if placed in neutral the vehicle would shake and jerks when placed in drive. The mechanic stated that this was normal. The engine light had come on again and the mechanic was unable to duplicate the problem. The third occurrence resulted in an evap leak, due to the gas cap which needed to be tightened. The fourth incident showed a diagnostic result gas leak code of 0441. On the fifth occurrence, the mechanic suggested that the wires were eaten by rodents.
