This is the newest car I've ever owned (as a single mom of 3), so not having defrosters or floor heat is very inconvenient. I was very disappointed that my nice new car that I had purchased used last year was going to start having problems and I would start acquiring costly repair bills and with Indiana's unpredictable weather it is a major pain in my ass. I have to get up earlier to let the car run so as to have the frost off my windows to drive. I have to have scorching heat in my face and chest area while my feet and legs freeze. This is a real issue.
