I was driving along, and suddenly a rattling noise started coming from the right rear of the car when I would hit bumps. The car's handling was the same and the vehicle still felt stable, so I continued driving until I got to the dealership the next day. The Y advised that the rear strut mounts had deteriorated, and that Chrysler had revised the mounts after my vehicle year because of so many people having the same problem. Now I have to pay $300 to get them fixed!

I had owned the car less than 4 years when the rear strut mount on the passenger side broke from corrosion and caused me to have to have the rear mounts and struts replaced. I emailed Chrysler and they responded that since the car was no longer under warranty for those parts that there was nothing they could do about it.
