Sudden Unintended Acceleration
Leaving carwash With foot on brake I shifted from Neutral into Drive, Car immediately accelerated into hyper speed. No floor mats were under accelerator. No driver error. Car just took off at HIGH speed. Brakes had no effect on speed. Luckily could steer around cars and people -
Went over curb and embankment which broke wheels/tires. Car finally stopped - engine idling normally. The ODI (office of Defects and Investigations) # 10955085. Problem person at Chrysler told me it was a 17 year old car out of warranty and it is my responsibility.
