This data is from the NHTSA — the US gov't agency tasked with vehicle safety. Complaints are spread across multiple & redundant categories, & are not organized by problem.
So how do you find out what problems are occurring? For this NHTSA complaint data, the only way is to read through the comments below. Any duplicates or errors? It's not us.
Consumer took vehicle to mechanic and was informed that the lower lateral arm ball joints needed replacement. The air conditioner idler was replaced. When the consumer took the vehicle back to the dealer, the consumer was told when the air conditioner unit was replaced the recall regarding the lower lateral ball joints was performed, however the consumer was not aware that there was a recall or even that the work was done. The ball joints need to be replaced again, however the dealer stated it was the consumer's responsibility.
