The contact owns a 2023 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid. The contact stated that while his wife was driving 70-75 MPH, the message "Stop Safely. Vehicle Will Shut Off Soon." was displayed, and a chime sounded. Additionally, the check engine warning light and the turtle warning light were illuminated. The contact's wife was able to pull to the side of the road. The contact stated that after his wife turned off and restarted the vehicle, the message was no longer displayed; however, the check engine warning light remained illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where the cause of the failure could not be determined. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The contact related the failure to NHTSA Campaign Number: 23V010000 (Electrical System, Hybrid Propulsion System) and NHTSA Action Number: PE22008 (Power Train). The manufacturer was notified of the failure and referred the contact to the dealer for assistance. The failure mileage was approximately 9,832.
