3rd problem with Hybrid system with less than 1000 miles on vehicle.
First the battery had to be replaced due to coolant lead. Then the coolant line had to be bled - mechanic error? Lastly, the Hybrid wiring harness had to be replaced.
Chrysler should have replaced this vehicle as soon as they found out that the Hybrid battery needed to be replaced. It is now a Lemon. This was our 4th Chrysler minivan, but I doubt we will get a replacement for this one.
We had driven the Pacifica less than 80 miles when the high voltage battery needed to be replaced. Took over a month just to locate a replacement batter. According to the dealer, the repair cost over 28% of the cost of the vehicle. Chrysler should have offered to replace this as soon as it was determined what the problem was.
The loaner I was given (after waiting a week), was the least expensive Jeep, as compared to the top of the line Pacifica.
The repair person had never done a battery replacement, and even after all the promises of it not being an issue, we were back after 2 weeks because the battery coolant lines where supposedly not bled.
Just came back from the shop again for the 3rd time due to hybrid issue.
