of all the issues, I want to bring attention to 2 very serious ones. 1) Engine has transmission issue. Auto Shifting of gears give constant jerks and this was never resolved. Chrysler has always avoided this as it's a very expensive fix. Have taken to several different dealerships in 2 different states. (NJ & TX) 2) Coolant leaking. This ends up becoming an engine problem that they don't fix.

I purchased this Chrysler Pacifica from advantage auto sales in new Kensington pa. Making payments obviously but I have had nothing but issues since we got it. Now it-??s up at #1 Cochran and they did a exam and they sent me a video and the transmission is bad, (which when I got the vehicle I been saying something is wrong with the transmission, took it to the garage they kept telling me to take to for now 3rd gear to be grinded out. Head gaskets went in it as well they kept it for over 2 months to not even put parts back together properly, axle is bad. Leaking oil somewhere where still, this fan flapper thingy in the front is bad and been since day 1 there is a bad sensor on it which they told me they fixed and clearly didn-??t. I have had nothing but issues on this vehicle since I got it. It sees more garages than it does outside. I have 4 kids. Making a lot of trips to doctor appointments and such.. so I need a vehicle, they don-??t care. I went to the dealer yesterday and they just told me to take it to another place to get the transmission rebuild or whatever but I feel that isn-??t going to fix it and I-??m just gonna have more issues in the long run. Can you guys help me at all ?! I need something done. My warrenty is up soon and they only cover 8,000 of the tranny and it-??s a 10,000 tranny.

Greetings, have a 2017 Chrysler Pacifica that at 43k miles started making a front end noise. The steering wheel now sometimes locks into place for a second or two while turning. Dealership states it needs a needs rack and pinion. Contacted Chrysler as this was a CPO vehicle that supposedly was checked out drastically to be able to receive the CPO warranty. Issue started less than 1k miles after purchase. Chrysler states they will do nothing except warranty the new part which is 1800 alone. I-??ve read a lot of people are having this issue. How can a car that the steering wheel locks into place not be considered for a recall?

Struts have failed and been repaired twice on driver and passenger front. Struts are making noise when moving at speeds of 0-35 for a third time which typically indicates they are failing again.

I have taken this vehicle in for repairs multiple times and it is schedule for repairs again this week. There have been multiple electrical issues including problems with the sliding doors, anti lock brake system had to be replaced, the battery system is grounding out, issues with the radio screen, and now the auto on off system is not working. In addition, I had to take the vehicle in for the ball joints bolts coming loose three time and they just used loctite to make them say on. They never realigned the vehicle and now I have to replace tires that are unsafe. Chrysler should own this and I am still convinced the ball joints could be damaged from this issue and they should replace them. However, the biggest issue is the transmission. It will be going in for the fifth time this week for the same issue that the dealer keep claiming is how I drive it. When taking off from a dead stop the transmission hesitates, which is a serious safety issue. Also, when driving and you let off the accelerator to brake it will hammer real hard. This a serious safety issue and Chrysler and the dealer refuse to own it. I filed my second complaint with Chrysler last week. This all needs to be resolved so I have a safe vehicle for my family. I feel they are stalling so my warranty will run out and I have no recourse.

Transmission shifting issue. Vehicle was at a complete stop. When acceleration from stop and making a right turn, the vehicle acted like it slipped out of gear and back into gear. This caused a violent motion in the car. This is a repeated issue with this van. At times when I step on the gas to accelerate the transmission does not always engage properly and it slips causing a delay in taking off. I have had it back to the dealer for all upgrades or reprograms for this problem and yet the problem still persists

I am clearly having transmission issues. At 45,000 miles, I have taken the van in twice so far and no solution is successful. First service was to address the transmission recall which was merely a software modification. This did not fix the issue. I took it in again and the service department could not replicate the issue. I am getting a major kick in the shifting during low speed movement. It happens around 15 mph when acceleration holds steady. It is a violent kick as if another vehicle has hit the rear of our van. This is not ok, nor does it seem healthy for the state of the rest of the moving parts associated. The other issue is within the front suspension. Over even the smallest of bump or uneven road surface, it feels as if something is loose. I had it into the shop to check the struts, joints, etc, and they are ok, but something is not right and I begin to wonder if this vehicle is safe for my wife to drive my family around town in.

We have a 2017 Pacifica and noticed a clunking in the front of the car we are about 4,000 miles over the 36,000 warranty and they are telling us that the driver side strut needs to be replaced and Chrysler is not willing to budge and fix this problem. I accepted this decision and went to purchase the part from a part shop and no one can get a replacement strut for a 2017 Pacifica. I feel this should be covered and is not something that should have gone bad this soon.

The contact owns a 2017 Chrysler pacifca. While driving approximately 39 mph, an unusual noise was heard from the front passenger side of the vehicle. There was no warning indicator illuminated. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who diagnosed that the passenger side motor and strut were fractured. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and stated that the warranty expired. The contact was informed to call NHTSA. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 68,000.

While driving at any speed, on any surface, the sensation of sway and bobbing is excessive and of concern. The dealer reports that it is normal. Our 2005 model was totally free of all sway and bobbing thus very comfortable for all passengers. (the dealer reports the scraping in the front was normal. It was later discovered that the splash shield up front was about to fall off.) there are service records I can fax.

When ever driving down hill the brakes makes a loud noise (skipping thud sound) it feels and sounds like as the whole front suspension or brakes about to fall off the van. The other problem when turning the car at even at low speed when the road is wet the van suspension would make noise and tire wont grip. Happens many time pulling out from my drive way when its lightly wet.
