I just put $2,000 in maintenance into my 2008 Chrysler Pacifica and now they tell me the Engine cradle is rotting and it will not pass inspection. Chrysler has a class action lawsuit against them and told me they will do nothing about it and not reimburse me for repairs. When the car was made Chrysler skipped a step to coat the engine cradle and failed to do it. The engine could fall out of the car and they refused to do anything.
THERE IS A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT AGAINST FCA FOR THIS PROBLEM. WHEN I CHANGED MY OIL, I FOUND THE ENGINE CRADLE RUSTED. WHEN I RESEARCHED FOR ANY RECALLS ONLY 7,000 WERE RECALLED AND NOT MY YEAR, 2008. THIS IS A MANUFACTURER'S ERROR AND SHOULD BE REPAIRED AT NO COST TO THE CURRENT OWNER AT ANY DEALER. AS SOON AS I CAN GET THIS REPAIRED UNDER A MANUFACTURER'S ORDER, IT WILL BE FIXED.
I think it is awful that a 2008 vehicle has a engine cradle rusting out problem to begin with. Chrylser was aware of these problems in their 2004 - 2005 vehicles and has done nothing to improve their newer models. Does anyone out there have the same issues? any help would be greatly appreciated.
