So my 2008 Pacifica has loss electrical power intermittantly over the past several months. No recalls as of yet. but went to the dealer on three separate occaissions. first replaced battery cables at $210, second visit for the same problem they said they needed to replace the battery estimated cost of $190 which included an inflated charge of 30 minutes later (really!), the battery was under warranty so i got it replaced for free (Kudos to Autozone) still did not fix the problem. I was qouted a price of $340 by the dealer so a technician could trace wires back in the electrical system 9this did not include repairs) I SAID NO-WAY. On my third visit after the new battery and battery cables, they coordinated with Chrysler who beleives that the computer codes are due to a faulty Clockspring and wany $650 to fix. Oh yeah get this, the clockspring is not available because they are changing manufacturers (WHY ARE YOU CHANGING MANUFACTUERS CHRYLER?) is the part going to be different. Chryler had the same problem which caused a recall 0n 1998-2000 year vehicles, and several complaints of this model 2008 Pacifical are having the same problem-it seems this should be recalled by Chrysler-but has not as of yet
