Tried to move gear shift out of park. Could not. Called someone who showed me how to remove gear shift assembly cover and release cable. Pink thing inside was broken. Went on YouTube to understand problem. Took to shop who explained about the inferior plastic parts and refused (strongly suggested) to replace just the pink thing saying something else inside the shift assembly was also broken.
