The contact owns a 2006 Chrysler Pacifica equipped with an activheat 6hcsbl24 seat cover. The contact received the NHTSA campaign id number: 11E014000 (equipment) recall. The contact called the manufacturer to find out when the replacement seat cover would be shipped, but the manufacturer advised the contact to view a website that required a fee. The manufacturer was unresponsive and not helpful regarding the seat cover recall failure.
I drive a 2006 Chrysler Pacifica touring. I have had issues with the ABS light coming on and off. It does not make a difference the speed I am traveling and when I come to a stop it begins to vibrate and I rearended the people infront of me. I have also had issues with my car stalling for no apparent reason. It is hard to believe that there is not a recall on this particular unit. I have called the dealership and also Chrysler and they said no problems have ever been documented...they need to start checking this site and see that all of the problems are the same.
After starting my 2006 Pacifica it will stall after I take my foot off the gas. The dealer said my idle air control motor needs replacing. I did some research and found a lot of additional complaints about the same problem and the same part. I think some other vehicles were 2004 but it was the exact same problem and the exact same recommended fix.
