engine will not turn over, but all lights work
I bought this car new in 2008. I think maybe 2 or 3 times I had an issue with the car not wanting to start. But if I'd let it sit for about 20 minutes it would start right up. These few occasions were not so much an issue as they were spread out pretty far apart from each other. Yesterday I started my car to go eat about 15 minutes up the road. I have a habit of always turning off everything in my car before I shut her down. Anyway we were in the diner maybe 45 minutes to an hour and when I tried to start my car..NOTHING. No click, no sound of trying to turn over..Nothing. Dead as a door nail. My gauge lights all came on when my key was on, headlights worked, radio etc. But absolutely would not start. I called my daughter to try to jump it but again..Nothing. Had to get it towed and a awaiting the outcome of their thoughts on the matter. I'm really annoyed I love my car, But I will chuck it in a New York minute if this problem continues or others arise. Anyone else having an issue like this ?
