I have a 2007 Chrysler PT CRUISER, that was not involved in a collision or any type of damaging incident however the occupant classification system in the passenger seat is now malfunctioning to the point where if anyone or anything is in the seat the airbag light in the instrument cluster turns on and the notification chime sounds. The dealer has estimated that $500 would be a good start to repairing the problem, which has not been completed yet.
On us 23 in Michigan, I was at a full stop. I was rear ended by a car driving at approximately 60-70 mph. The impact propelled me into the rear end of another car. Neither my airbag nor the passenger airbag deployed. There were four of us in the car. We have all sustained significant injuries.
