ignition stopped working
After starting the ignition on my Chrysler 2007 PT Cruiser Saturday 3-1-14 I called my insurance for roadside service tem I never had before towing my car to the auto dealer. All the lights in the dashboard would light up so it must be an electrical shortage problem I never had before. I bought the car 4-2009. The car dealer has been trying to diagnose what the problem is. I called them today 3-21-14 to see if they know anything and pick up my car. They say they have it started but cannot promise if it will stop running again. Their body shop diagnosis does not indicate there is a problem. I am going to ask for a copy of the warranty when I pick it up for future dealer repairs under state law in KANSAS. I also plan to ask if I can buy a service contract that is available within the next 90 days since I paid the car off (and see if the dealer will allow me a pre purchase inspection off the lot at no cost to me).
