My 2006 PT CRUISER was making noises and then it started jerking in just as I got off on the exit my transmission when out on it meaning that it started leaking fluids at the bottom of the car it didn't give me a warning or nothing.

The contact owns a 2006 Chrysler PT CRUISER. While driving 40 mph, the contact attempted to downshift from fourth to third gear. The stick went forward, but the transmission did not shift. The vehicle failed to slow down and crashed into a sign. A police report was filed. The vehicle was towed to the dealer and they were unable to duplicate the failure. The current mileage was 23,523 and failure mileage was 17,000.
