I own two PT Cruisers a 2006 GT convertible and a 2008 Street Cruiser Sunset Blvd. I bought both new and both have the same issue that is the air bag warning light stays on all the time. I took the 2006 into my dealer and they told me that the computer needs to be reset and that would cost over $100 dollars. I declined as I think Chrysler should repair this for free as it is a safety issue on both of my cars and on other PT Cruisers. I have talked to their owners.
TOOK TO DEALERSHIP AND THEY ATTEMPTED TO PULL CODES BUT NONE SHOWED, THEY TRIED TO DUPLICATE PROBLEM AND COULDN'T. ALL IDIOT LIGHTS COME ON AND SEATBELT LIGHTS ILLUMINATE AND GOES AWAY AFTER ABOUT 3 TO 4 SEC OF DRIVING
