The contact owns a 2006 Chrysler PT CRUISER. The hatch on the rear trunk was replaced seven times which caused the alarm to activate and drain the battery. The warning light for the rear door indicated that the door was ajar which also activated the alarm. The failure has occurred since the vehicle was purchased. The failure mileage was 0 and the currently mileage was 53300. Updated 3/17/10 updated 05/05/10.
